You could fill out the Order Enquiry, it's a form with a few questions, such as the date and time you want your order, the occassion you are ordering for, the number of people you plan to feed with your cake and if there is a theme. This is not an order confirmation and will not require payment. Once I've confirmed I have availability and we have all the details worked out, I will send an email with payment details. Your order is confirmed when payment is received in full. I will send a confirmation email and provide the address for pick-up.
Or you can send me an email or text or call to discuss the details of your occasion. The rest of the process will be as above.
I collect payment in full once the details of the order are established and I've confirmed my availability. The order is not considered confirmed until I've received payment in full. I wont start work on your order until payment is received.
The date and time of your order should be established when placing your order. Please provide the time you would like to collect on the day you need your cake. I plan my schedule around your pick-up time. Even though I work from my home I need to get things done, which sometimes means I have to leave to collect stock or attend appointments. I allow a twenty (20min) minute window for you to collect your item. This allows a buffer for unforeseen traffic etc. I appreciate when my customers text (4046616096) me with their ETA on the day. If for some reason you are not able to collect at your pick-up time you will need to contact me and arrange a new time. I am fairly flexible and accommodating if you need to change the pick-up time prior to the day please just reach out chances are I can shift it for you. I have your cakes and bouquets ready and boxed for your pick-up time, the cakes need to stay cold in order to travel securely, therefore I remove them from the fridge right before your pick-up time, if you run late and don't let me know your cake will be out of the fridge for longer than is necessary which is not ideal, This is why it is important to keep in contact with me.
You will need a flat surface for your cake to sit on in your vehicle. Sometimes towels or blankets can be helpful to create a flat surface. Most cakes and bouquets are in boxes for transportation, with the exception of the large 24 and 30 cupcake bouquets. A space large enough for your cake or bouquet is necessary. Tall cakes will need tall spaces to allow the box to fit. Your car will need to be cool, in summer an AC is necessary, in winter the heater in the car should be off while you are transporting your cake. The cake/cupcakes can NOT be left in the car while you run errands, all of my cakes are made with real butter the buttercream will start to melt if the temperature is over 69F.
Cupcake Bouquets can be stored in rooms that are 69F or cooler. The buttercream will start to melt if the room is warmer than 69F. If your space is too warm, the bouquet should be placed in the Freezer rather than the fridge. the Refridgerator will dry out the cake.
They will defrost quickly in under 30min
Cakes can be stored in the fridge, because cakes tend to be completely covered in either buttercream or fondant and the fact that they are much larger than cupcakes, they do not dry out like cupcakes.
Cakes need to warm up before serving, allow two hours fore the cake to reach room temperature. Cakes may start to form air pockets in the frosting as they warm, this usually happens around hour 4 of being out of the fridge.
Cakes can be stored at room temperature in sealed containers for up to 3 days.
They can be stored in the fridge in a sealed container for up to a week.
They can be store in the freezer, wrap the pieces tightly in plastic wrap or freezer bags for up to 3 months. If you are storing and entire cake, if it is well wrapped, people have kept them frozen for a year and had perfect cake a year later.
